Job Description
Responsible for network systems projects involving integration's of LANs and WANs and/or user network applications on distributed systems conforming with or supporting IEEE 802 standards. Work with clients to improve network security requirements, DOD standards protocols, LANs, WANs, reliability and maintainability, safety, test and evaluation, quality assurance, network topology, secure data communications, design integration engineering.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design and implementation of complex network solutions
- Resource for junior engineers working on the team
- Manage and maintain a multi-server IT infrastructure
- Information system development
- Analysis of functional network (LAN/WAN) requirements
- Supervise system upgrades to include both hardware and software
- Documentation preparation
Skill Sets and Experience Required
- Minimum 6 years experience, of which at least 4 years must be specialized.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related discipline.
- Expertise in information systems development, functional and data requirements analysis, systems analysis and design, programming, program design and documentation
- Expertise in the implementation of information engineering projects
- With a Masters degree (in a field described above): 4 years general experience of which at least 3 years specialized experience is required.
- With a Ph.D. (in a field described above) 2 years general experience of which at least 1 years must be specialized experience
- With 10 years general experience of which at least 7 years specialized experience, a degree is not required

- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under only general direction.
